Fall is a colorful adventure filled with football, cooler temps, hot cider or coffee, spooky feelings, and sweatshirts. Fall is a cornucopia of madness before the Christmas rush hits.
Fall brings change. A person can be a kid at the end of summer and turn into a grown-up by fall. This experience typically happens in college. I remember it happening to me. While I don’t have children, i did used to work in daycare and it seemed to me in the fall you really realise how much bigger the children had gotten. how their personalities had changed , and how they don’t fit in that cute little outfit they used to like to wear.
Fall can be romance for some people. I met two guys in the fall. One left a very big impression on me. But, I’m not gonna talk about that right now. I’ll save it for another post close to Halloween.
Fall is a refreshing change from the hot summer that seems to linger. It gives you hope that things will get better. It also grows darker faster and this often depresses people . Me? No. Darkness is cool. Sunny days bug me sometimes. They’re too unpredictable.
There is a feeling of family in the fall. One goes to homecoming, a sports outing or talks to a neighbor outside because it’s not too hot to stand around. It’s a social season before the real cold of Winter begins.
Fall is colorful, changing, and sweet.
